Sander Mathijs

Sander Mathijs is Sustainability Manager at Walbridge, where he leads the development and execution of the company’s sustainability strategy, reinforcing its role as a responsible corporate citizen delivering construction projects across North America.
After relocating from Belgium to the United States in 2019, he brings cross-continental perspective and expertise in sustainable business operations, low-carbon solutions, and greenhouse gas management. Sander works with stakeholders across different departments to drive sustainability internally, and translates project requirements into measurable, scalable strategies that strengthen performance and long-term value.
